To comply with Regulations an employer must provide training relevant to working at a computer before asking staff to complete a self-assessment. Our Office DSE Assessment process satisfies both of these requirements. The ‘Importance of Good Posture’ training module in mandatory and will improve DSE awareness, helping each computer user to play an important role in identifying and minimising their own risk. The online assessment program comprises of the following modules.
DSE Training – The Importance of Good Posture. It is made compulsory for each user to confirm they have completed this module before they can continue to the self-assessment checklist.
DSE Checklist – The training is designed to equip the user with the knowledge they need to complete the assessment form, although additional guidance is provided throughout. We agree a completion date, during which time, reminders are sent to achieve a maximum number of completions.
Report and Recommendations – All completed submissions are analysed by our fully trained Assessors. Any issues raised on the checklists are reported to you in a user-friendly report. An action plan for ongoing recommendations is also supplied. For those users highlighting more serious issues, follow up assessments in the office are available.
